The Straits Fishing Pier project is owned by Carteret County NC and provides water access to thousands of locals and tourist year round. The “Straits” area is well known for superior inshore fishing and beautiful waters just a short distance from Cape Lookout. The project included demolition of an existing pier structure and the complete redesign and permitting of a new, modern, ADA Accessible and far more resilient product. Boasting over 10,000 sqft of finished pier area, stainless hardware and concrete decking this project was a superior investment into the community.
